Franchise Brand Design

We creates franchise brand design systems that are consistent, scalable, and memorable. We design complete visual identities for restaurants, cafés, retail concepts, hospitality brands, and service-based businesses that are planning to grow across multiple locations. Our approach focuses on building a strong brand foundation that can be repeated clearly while still feeling unique and recognizable. From logo design and colour direction to typography, packaging, signage, menu design, and brand guidelines, every detail is thoughtfully developed. We create brand systems that not only look professional but also support future expansion, customer recognition, and day-to-day business use. Every brand is designed to maintain consistency across locations, marketing materials, interiors, and customer touchpoints.

Brand System

Franchise brand design is all about creating a brand that can grow without losing its identity. At Hive Studio, we develop branding that feels clear, flexible, and easy to apply across different locations and platforms. We study the business concept, target audience, customer journey, visual style, and long-term franchise goals. Every element is planned to support recognition, trust, and consistency. For restaurants and cafés, we focus on logo identity, menu systems, packaging, signage, and interior brand presence. For retail and service-based franchises, we focus on a clean visual language that can be used across print, digital, and physical spaces. Our goal is to create a brand system that is not only visually strong but also practical for future growth. We design with attention to how the brand will appear on storefronts, social media, uniforms, packaging, interiors, and marketing materials. The final result is a franchise brand that feels professional, consistent, and ready to expand.

A successful franchise brand needs to be visually strong, but it also needs to be easy to repeat across every location. At Hive Studio, we balance creative branding with practical brand application. We consider how the logo, colours, fonts, graphics, signage, packaging, menus, and marketing materials will work together as one complete system. For food and hospitality franchises, we create brand identities that support customer experience, ordering flow, packaging impact, and strong storefront visibility. For retail and service brands, we design visuals that build trust, recognition, and a professional market presence. We also focus on creating brand guidelines that help teams, vendors, and future locations use the brand correctly. Each element is selected to create a clear and consistent visual experience. Our team understands how branding can shape customer memory and support business growth. We create franchise brand systems that are recognizable, flexible, and built with purpose.

Process

that simplify

Phase 1

Onboarding

We begin by collecting all required information from the client, including the design direction, business goals, and project requirements. Our team reviews the existing brand identity, target audience, and overall vision for the hospitality space. This phase may include site visits, client meetings, team introductions, and understanding the project scope. It helps us build a clear foundation before moving into the design concept stage.

Phase 2

Schematic Design

In this phase, we create the initial concept plan and design direction for the project presentation. Hive Studio develops the overall look and feel, furniture layout, wall and floor finish concepts, and lighting direction. We also explore millwork ideas, furniture concepts, brand colour direction, and key visual cues for the space. This phase helps the client visualize the mood, style, and experience of the hospitality interior.

Phase 3

Design Development

After the concept is reviewed, we refine the floor plan, design details, materials, finishes, and overall interior direction. We prepare updated layouts, finish selections, 3D views, and key design elements for client approval. If required, this phase may also include preliminary coordination with engineering consultants. The goal is to finalize the design direction before moving into detailed technical drawings.

Phase 4

Interior Contract Drawings

This phase includes the technical drawings required to execute the project accurately on site. The drawing package may include floor plans, elevations, sections, details, millwork drawings, and material specifications. We also include FF&E details, finish schedules, and design notes needed for contractors and vendors. These drawings help ensure the approved design is clearly communicated for construction and execution.

Phase 5

Construction Phase

During the construction phase, Hive Studio provides design support to help maintain the approved design intent. Our team assists with contractor coordination, millwork drawing reviews, material submittals, and clarification requests. We may also conduct site visits, review progress, and prepare deficiency notes where required. This phase helps keep the project aligned with the final design vision through completion.
